2017 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

For over 20 years, BWArchitects has been responsible for the design and execution of one of the largest annual parties in the world, the Academy Awards Dinner and After Party for Vanity Fair Magazine.

In 2017, the full block of North Crescent Drive between Beverly Hills City Hall and the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Arts was shut down for the month of February for the construction of a 25,000 square foot temporary structure. On Oscar Night, guests arrived via the main entrance of the restored 1930’s Beverly Hills Post Office, past the bright lights and paparazzi filled press lines into a a series of purpose built party pavilions, cocktail bars, photography and video studios, dance floors and gardens, each designed and illuminated to accentuate the most glamorous evening of the year.
